Lesson 3: Classroom Instructions and Vocabulary
Lesson Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Understand and use essential classroom vocabulary.
- Follow simple classroom instructions.
- Interact using basic phrases related to classroom activities.
Duration: 1 hour
- Introduction to Instructions (15 minutes)
- Read and listen to the section on instructions (page 24).
- Listen and number the instructions in order (page 25, exercise 3).
- Complete exercise 4: apply the heard instructions by selecting the correct objects (page 25).
- Vocabulary of Classroom Objects (20 minutes)
- Read the section “Classroom Objects” (page 24).
- Complete the words for classroom objects (page 24, exercise 1).
- Interaction and Practice (15 minutes)
- Use the expressions from the “Communication Guide” to create mini-dialogues (page 25).
- Listen to the expressions and repeat them (page 25).
- Write the French words for the proposed objects (e.g., hotel, television, etc.) (page 25, exercise 5).
